THE TOBACCO PLANT

  • Leaves normaly are collected from plant button to top along the harvesting season according to secuencial maturity.
  • Styles and cuality variation depending on different types (FCV, Burley, Oriental) varieties origins and regions.
  • Leaf tobacco is not considered a commodity product.

Role of the Tobacco Leaf Trader

  • Intermediary between farmers /leave suppliers and manufacturers of tobacco products (Cigarretes, Cigars, Etc)
  • Sources leaf tobacco for customers, on demand or on speculation basis
  • Processes tobacco to customer specifications
  • Does not manufacture cigarettes or other consumer tobacco products

Tradetab Soluciones (TTS) buys, sells and processes flue-cured, burley and other leaf tobaccos from around the globe for manuactures of consumer tobacco products.

TTS buys Tobacco through marketing agreements with leaf tobacco companies with reputable leaf tobacco companies in the major origins of tobacco.

TTS does not manufacture consumer tobacco products

Main supply Markets

  • Africa, Brazil and the United States produce approximately two-thirds of the flue-cured and burley tobacco grown outside China
  • Annual production of such tobaccos handled on average by TTS: India 35%, Africa 25%, Brazil 15%, Others 25%
  • TTS conducts its business in more than 12 countries

DIVERSE TOBACCO PRODUCT

Flue-cured

  • Cured leaves have a yellow to orange color and grow well In subtropical regions with light rainfall
  • Matures from the bottom leaves up and are harvested al different times as they mature, after which they are cured using heat
  • Used in American and English blend cigarettes
  • Bright clean lemmon leaves are used for shisha tobaccos

Burley

  • Cured leaves are brown In color and are typilcally grown in heavier soils than flue-cured
  • Leaves are graded by their position and the stalk ond are air-cured in barns
  • Used in American blend cigarettes

Oriental

  • Small, aromatic leaf grown in Turkey, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Greece and Lebannon
  • Sun-cured
  • Used in American blend cigarettes

Dark

  • Used in cigars, pipe tobacco and smokeless products
  • Air or fire cured

  • Contracts with farmers for crops
  • Manages large number of farmer relationships
  • Provides seed and fertilizer in most cases

  • Promotes sustainable farmer base and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)

    removing non-tobacco materials and drying to precise moisture targets for long-term storage
